Polishing Shakespeare's worldwide premiere was at The Kitchen Theatre in 2024, and its Off-Broadway premiere was at 59E59 Theaters in 2025. This show examines the plight of every artist. To sell out or not to sell out? As a billionaire offers a grant to a theatre to produce a version of a Shakespeare play that is easier to understand, the playwright is forced to balance her artistic morals and her need to survive. The ability to make exciting and intriguing art is limited by the people who hold the money, and their motives are not towards the artist that they are using. This play is filled with interesting language and humor.

Concept
A large aspect of this show is to divert the expectations of the audience. This show is a modern take on the language of Shakespeare and a look at the industry as we see it right now. Also, there is a play within a play aspect that is revealed to the audience slowly. This is done mainly with sound and light elements. The sound helps snap us out of a theatrical moment and back to "Reality". As we get closer to full theatricality the sound helps build that moments leading up to that. Reminding us that we are watching and therefore a fellow participant in the theatre.
