My name is Ariana Cristina Cardoza. I am a sound designer based in New York City and a recent graduate from Ithaca College with a BFA in Theatre Production and Design. Currently, I am the Assistant Drafting Engineer at 4Wall Entertainment. While at Ithaca, I was the Sound Designer for several plays. I also composed original music for an unrealized production of Marisol. After college, I worked as a designer and assistant at the Weathervane Theater. Then I completed the Harry Weininger Sound Fellowship at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. I’d like to continue working on plays that bring new underrepresented perspectives to “classic” works. While also highlighting new plays and new voices that create important discussions concerning race, sexuality, and the inherently political world where we reside. I strive to make aural worlds filled with abstraction and heightened reality that manifests into real emotion.
